Monday, OCTOBER 19 

  • PARENT/TEACHER CONFERENCE WEEK:  Contact your student's teacher for an appointment. 

Tuesday, OCTOBER 20

  • MOMS IN PRAYER: 8:30am - Meet near the flagpole after flag ceremony. 
  • MAKE-UP PICTURE DAY: Cordova Photography will be on campus to take make-up pictures of student's who were absent on 10/12. An email was sent to remind families who need to have photos taken. Dress Uniform must be worn for the photos. If you have any questions, please contact mfredregill@kingsschools.com.  

Wednesday, OCTOBER 21:

  • MIDDLE SCHOOL CHAPEL: 8:30am - 9:15am  

Thursday, OCTOBER 22:

  • ALL SCHOOL FIRE DRILL/LOCK DOWN PRACTICEOnce a month King's Schools practices fire drill and lock down procedures. Your student's teacher goes over procedures with their class each month, along with the practical drills. For your information, this is what they look like. 
  1. FIRE DRILL - Alarm goes off and students are instructed to quietly walk to their designated holding areas. Standard earthquake drills are practiced in the classroom after each drill. 
  2. LOCK DOWN DRILL - Alarm goes off and student's are instructed to remain in their classroom, or go to the nearest classroom if they are outside. They are to remain quite with their teacher until the drill has ended. 

 
Friday, OCTOBER 23:

  • SCHOOL SPIRIT DAY: Students may wear their Spirit shirts and/or Bowl-A-Rama Remain shirt with uniform bottoms. Spirit shirts may be purchased in the front office.  
  • MS GIRL'S BIBLE STUDY: 7:40am - 8:15am. All 6th - 8th grade girls are encouraged to join Mrs. Fredregill in the MPR for Middle School Bible Study.  
  • ELEMENTARY CHAPEL: 8:30am - 9:15am 

 What's coming up...

  • K-5 RILEY'S FARM FIELD TRIP:  October 29. For more information, please see your child's teacher. 
  • K-8 CORE VALUE - 1/2 DAY: October 30. 8:30am-9:15am - Families are welcome to join us for our all-school outdoor chapel around the flagpole.
    • Early school dismissal for teacher inservice. No aftercare. The school bus leaves King's at 11:45am.
    • Elementary dismissal @ 11:15am 
    • Middle School dismissal @ 11:30am
